CitySkip Brooklyn Walk Photos
The walk started at Plum Beach to see Brooklyn’s only sand dunes; then went onto decommissioned Floyd Bennett Field to roam around runways; and continued onto Dead Horse Bay to see artifacts from the turn of the 20th Century (including horse bones); then concluded with a visit to the decommissioned military installations at former Fort Tilden (technically in Queens).
